Sustainability Report to communicate its position on sustainability and related activities effectively to
stakeholders.
To communicate initiatives intended to increase corporate value over the medium to long term, the Group referenced
the Reporting Principles and Disclosures of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, as well as the
International Integrated Reporting Framework of the Value Reporting Foundation. In the following report, intended
for a wide range of stakeholders, the Group describes its fundamental management policies for achieving sustainable
growth, clarifying the social and environmental issues that it seeks to address and proactively disclosing the
initiatives to address those issues.

This report primarily covers the 2020 calendar year, with some additional information from late 2019, early 2021 and beyond according to the content of of the Bridgestone Group's Mid-Long Term Business Strategy.
