The Bridgestone Group aims to foster environmental awareness in children, the leaders of tomorrow, and encourages people to recognize the importance of nature. To achieve this, we promote various efforts which can contribute to environment through social activities, named “eco-Project”.
We are focusing on the following 4 areas.

Prevention of global warming:
Contributing to a reduction in CO2 emissions, which is regarded as one of the most serious causes of global warming -
Biodiversity protection:
Contributing to preserving and recovering nature to protect the original ecosystem unique to each area -
Educating the next generation:
Promoting understanding of environment for communities, especially among children -
Moving towards a recycling-oriented society:
Create a sustainable society through resource saving, energy saving and 3R activities etc.
Global projects
Bridgestone group has promoted the global environmental campaign “MAKE CARS GREEN” jointly with the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (the FIA) and automobile clubs of each country. This campaign aims to help reduce the impact of cars on the environment and help drivers think green before they drive.
