Construction “GP-BELT” (for use as rear tires for JSB1000, BIG BIKE and Moto2 sizes)

In the previous V01 product, the area which came in contact with the ground had lower ground contact pressure when cornering. This construction GP-BELT, equalizes ground contact pressure and enlarges the ground contact surface area contributing to better grip. Improved grip performance when cornering and controlled wear has been realized.

Compound (used for SOFT rear tires)

By controlling wear, a softer compound can be used for GP-BELT. This improves gripping performance
for all temperature ranges.

Special design structure matching vehicle body weight and power
Improved turning performance* by optimizing the front tire road surface rigidity. Greater freedom of the driving line.
High line traceability. Initial turning performance from braking to entering the turn has been improved for lighter turns*. Ground contact performance* by the rear tire is improved by optimizing road surface rigidity of the front tire. Improves accelerating* at the exit of the corner.

The following list is a general guide. For further details regarding compound selection, air pressure
 settings and suitable size for each machine, please contact our technical support department.
Road surface temperature is a determining factor when choosing a compound, and changes
 depending on the weather, time, wind, etc. “Outside air temperature on a sunny day plus 15°C",
 “Outside air temperature on a cloudy day plus 5°C” can be used as a general guide.

Racing Battlax tires are especially designed for road racing. Not for use on public roads. When selecting this tire, first confirm that the tire and rim diameter and rim width match, and then consider the season and compound, dimensions and specifications chart, etc., and then select the most appropriate compound air pressure settings in consideration of the circuit and road surface conditions (course surface μ). When storing the tires, be sure to lay them on their side. If they are stored standing, the contact area of the tread may become uneven, causing friction and vibration when racing.
